Painting

I got the bright idea that painting drapery would help me see shadows and highlights better.  Well, I can see the darks and lights, but I am having a really difficult time painting draped cloth.  I also don’t have a lot of time to paint.  I was supposed to be working on my painting from 2 weeks ago. I kept putting it off so today I tried painting for a little in the morning and then some this evening. I wanted to have something to show my teacher tomorrow.

Here’s the new picture I’ve been working on.  Painting the drapery is a lot harder than I thought it would be.  This picture is totally kicking my butt!
